Reading Software Programs

I was surfing the archives section under Self Improvement and found a link on such software programs Reading Genius and Instant Speedlearning.

I've always wanted to learn how to speed read and even though my family and friends tell me I read fast enough as it is, I still feel I need some improvement. Plus, I'm interested in improving my learning ability as well. I've heard great things about Reading Genius, but no one has said anything about Instant Speed Learning.

I checked it out and I must admit that I am always a little put off by things that promise rapid and instantaneous results. There are tried and true study methods out there, but you really have to embrace the process and put it to work. I don't feel that these things should come rapidly. I think it takes a little bit of time to train your brain, or re-train it, whatever the case may be. So, this Instant Learning software program put me in the skeptical spot.

1. Has anyone here tried the Instant Speed Learning software program with successful results?

I have the same thoughts about Reading Genius too.

First of all, I'm sorry that I never tried Reading Genius so I cannot give any comment. However, I've tried another program with successful result. See if you find it helpful.

I learned speed reading a few months ago. I has also researched for different speed reading products. Finally, I chose one with customer review on Amazon. I also like the idea that it can train both my reading speed and comprehension together, and it is not expensive plus a money back guarantee. So I decided to try it out, and within a month's time it gives significant result. I've my reading speed doubled, and my comprehension skill is also much improved. It really helps saving a lot of my time, and improve my efficiency. I do suggest you to learn it as early as you can.

I'd like to read faster, what program/software do you guys recommend?

I learned speed reading a few months ago. I chose a speed reading software with good user reviews at that time. It helps me qutie a lot, and now I'm much more efficient in reading. It helps a lot on my study too.

I can recommend the course I used for your reference. It also covers comprehension and memorization skills. There is also a website which tells how to get the best out of the software, and it guides me to choose the online version of the course. I put the links here for you to check them yourself.

I have several different software programs such as video studio 9, plus the software that came with my video camera (power producer gold). All of my programs would recognise these files up until I had service pack 2 installed. I don't know if this has anything to do with the problems I am having. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Unless you are really short on codecs, you can simply change MOD files to MPG. That's what they really are anyway. If you want to use the MOD or MPG files in many other video programs, you will want to convert them to DV-AVI anyway - much easier to work with than MPG, which can cause problems with many programs - even ones that say they can work with MPG. Power Director generally does a good job with MPG though and should convert MOD files nicely.

I found a good story I want my mom to hear and I was looking for an easy way to do it. It is over 20 chapters long and that is a lot to read out loud. I guess I am lazy.
