Why isn't my computer reading my software disc?
Make Money With Your Digital Camera.

I recently got my tablet, and a disc with three new software files came with it.
I downloaded the Photoshop that came with it, and restarted my computer.
I put the disc back in to get the other two, and now it's not going.
I got to My Computer, but the disc drive isn't showing.
Why isn't my computer reading the disc?
Help!
EDIT: The drive itself is not showing up.

For clarity's sake, can you double-check and see if the entire drive isn't showing up or just the disc?

Edit: And you just bought it? Definitely something not right there.

Let's see if it's something simple...

Right-click on My Computer (XP) or Computer (Vista);
Click on Manage;
On the left, select device manager;
Click the plus sign next to "DVD/CD-ROM Drives, and. see if it's listed there.
--If yes, or if you see any devices with a question mark on them in that list, then right-click and choose "Uninstall."
Then restart the computer and it should reinstall the device.

-If this doesn't work, I say just avoid the heartache and take it back to the store from where you purchased it and swap it out. Most places should have at least a 14-day return policy. If purchased online, then call them.

Software/computer games to help my son improve reading skills?
hard disk blue

Can you recommend some software or computer games for a 3rd/4th grade reading level? He doesn't like reading so much, and I know it's because he struggles. He LOVES computer games, so I am hoping to help improve his reading skills by incorporating it with something he will enjoy and not make it feel like such a chore. Any suggestions?

Most rpg’s have a lot of dialog. Anything like final fantasy, or world of warcraft would be good.

Is there computer software that can read music from a song?
he is rasyidi

I was wondering if there is computer software that will recognise music in a song (you know like Guitar Pro).
I would like it in piano/keyboard and would like to import a song and it will tell me the music.

Sibelius will do it from a midi file, but that's all I know.

Can anyone with better eye-sight or better computer-software read this "Mood Color Chart"?

Here is the E-link:

http://www.popstarsacademy.com/parties/p artyBags/

I have tried reading it myself with my reading-glasses on, with a magnifying glass held up to the monitor & also by saving the picture, then trying to improve the quality of it with the computer-software I have, and am still not able to read all of the small words (Moods) that go to the "Mood Colors". The words for the "Mood Colors; Green & Gray" are the ones that I still can't quite make out for the "Mood Bracelet" they are selling. Thanks to All who try to help in answering my question here as I've tried to figure this out for quite some time with no luck yet. : ) "Happy Holidays" too!!

I think the quality of the image they uploaded is too poor and it won't matter how good someone's software is. Have you tried looking on eBay or other places on the internet for another picture?

    The big thing in technology right now is the iPad. And for good reason. Apple usually is on the cutting edge of computer-tech popularity – if not advancement.

    Personally, I’m not planning on buying an iPad – I don’t even own an iPod.

    So, I’m probably not the best candidate for a technology blog entry, but as often is the case, I am far more interested in the philosophical implications of technological advances – and one technology experiment going on at ASU right now is particularly intriguing.

    Saturday night I was emceeing at the ASU International Students’ Easter Celebration Banquet. At my table were Javier and Helen (from Mexico), two PhD candidates at ASU in the field of computer sciences. What they are working on astounded me.
