Dear Leslie!
I am 25 years old and was diagnosed with Stadgardt's desease 10 years ago. My vision dropped significantly and I think it has stabilised now on the certain level.
However, I have not been able to fully adapt to the vision loss and am experiencing a major psychological dificulties that I canot work out on my own anymore. I have heard there are low vision specialist working with people like me who can help find the suitable vision aids and refer to a special councelling therapy (not every psychologist would understand the special nature of issuies the visualy impaired have).
