Low Vision Software

Does anyone know a web-site making domain (think wordpress, blogspot, xanga, flickr and more) that is updated with blogs, video, pictures that can be decoded into the BrailleNote computer, and has options for low-vision to change to contrast? my friend is thinking of developing a new blogsite but is accessible to low-vision and blind people as well.

You shouldn't have to because all those options are all ready available under the Accessibility Options in the Control Panel.

If a person sets up to change the Contrast, Magification, Narrative etc then it doesn't matter what they are doing, either working off line or using sites on the the internet the computer's display and audio settings will remain the same.

My roommate has really low vision and he would like to use the computer is there a software out there that will magnify the text other than settings on the computer to maximize the font of a web page. Please leave a link if possible.

In Nero Vision on the page where you "add video files", go to the bottom & click on "more" to expand, then click on "video options". Now go to the DVD tab, down to "quality settings", in the drop down menu you can choose long play, extended play, super-long play. You'll be able to fit a lot more videos on one disc, but as you said, the quality may be affected.

Today I finally got to buy a zen vision m. I was pretty happy with my purchase, until I took it home and discovered it didn't work. So I took it back to best buy and replaced it... another dud.
Anyway, I made a mistake with the first one by plugging it in to my usb before the software was installed, so maybe thats why that one screwed up. With the second one I just plugged it in because the software from the previous one was still on my comp. Was that a mistake? Should I have installed the software (the exact same stuff) that came with that one, or does it make a difference?
I really like this player from what I've heard about it, so I'm hoping maybe it was me. I think the odds of getting 2 defective players are pretty low.
With both of the players the power button will light up, but it won't turn on and neither windows or the creative software recognize it when its plugged in.
So anyway I'm going to trade that one in tomorrow, any tips anyone have so this one won't be screwed up. I could test it at B.B. but if it requires the exact software it came with that'll be no help. Thanks for reading, I'm about at my wits end. I want THIS player.

All the cds are the same, so don't worry about that. You might think about where you're buying it from, as some retail outfits (even the really big ones) repackage items that were previously returned without notifying the customer in any way. You might also want to test the player in a different port, just in case that one was somehow unplugged internally, or is fried for one reason or another.
