Supplies For The Blind

I want to help find a set of runes for a blind friend of mine who is into divination, but unfortunately the only ones I've found have inscriptions, instead of something raised up that she would be able to feel.

She already does the tarot (with braille cards) and a few other types of prognostication, but she'd really enjoy taking this up. If you know of any place I can locate something like this, I would very much appreciate it.

Well my daughter is blind also and she wanted some rune casting supply at a modern shop university located in tapesworth Alabama, called Abercrombie and Bitch :)

I purchased a vertical Blind from an overseas supplier it was apparently supplied by Do It Best Home Centre - 9505 N W 108th Ave - Miami.....the installation manual was unfortunately not included - I am trying to obtain the manual - can you assist?

I would check the manufacturers web site. If you can;t find instructions there try going to another Vertical blind manufacturers web site. The instructions should be very similiar.

I've been serving in our military for 28 years and I've been asked to do a presentation at a local Christian School on Remembrance Day (Veterans Day for those in the US). Their actual service would cover the "remembrance" portion but they have asked me to speak for a few minutes on some of the reconstruction and humanitarian projects I have been involved with over the years.

I have about 12 slides in a PowerPoint presentation dealing with our work to supply the blind with Braillers and equipment as well as the rebuilding and resupply of an orphanage. I'm looking for some appropriate and short bible passages to include with the slides.

So far I've got:

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35

and on one slide that shows my medic tending to a wound on an orphan child:

But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds. Luke 33-34

There must be some others that can be used and that apply for the work done by soldiers. Keeping in mind that this is for an audience of children and we are talking more about humanitarian work then war fighting. (Not that there is anything wrong with that but other presentations take care of that aspect.)

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Sirius, I am going to get all "biblish" and I'm not worried of the children's parents starting to act funny, it's a Christian school. Not a Jewish school, not an Islamic school. They kind of expect you to get "biblish" and since my daughter goes there it only seems appropriate that I don't mind going all "biblish" either. I just needed some assistance on the appropriate passages.

between 200 - 300 pounds each at the very high end of the market. Probably half that via standard manufacturers
