Quotes For The Blind

We have been quoted about $6000 for 3 blinds for our house. We are finding it hard to compare quotes because of huge differences - Can anyone help. Thanks in Advance!!

i used to install the shutters,,the main materials used are basically the same,,,same stuff from the same supplier with a different name...cheack your quotes for options ..ie..box lock is the cheapest,,then auto locks...electric.....strap operation...winder operation .....these all can vary the price....take note however,,,regardless which option u choose,the price for the basic unit is only increased cause your paying for a brand name,,,,these things are brilliant for noise and weather,,,regardless of the claims- they are only a deterrent as far as security goes...hope this is helpfull

I have a friend who danced her heart out at a talent show, but she's blind. I need help with a quote, stating that its the heart which the dance comes from, not the eyes :) .. Any help is appreciated thanks!

The way I've always heard it as, "I see said the blind man to the deaf mute as they watched the roaring river in silence."

However, the only one I've really been able to find for the blind man quote is, "I see, said the blind man, to his deaf dog, and he picked up his hammer and saw." Or some similar variant.

Do you know anymore varieties of "I see said the blind man"?

Whole thing is " I see said the blind man to the deaf dog playing showtunes for the paraplegic cat..............etc"

I heard it once long ago, and my friend brought it up the other day. Neither of us can remember what book it was from, just that is was in "The Oblongs" style of writing.

Also, any idea on where I can obtain it would be great too. His birthday is coming up :)
