Material For The Blind

I am planning to open a call centre with blind people as employees. Ill also be visiting NGOs to raise funds for this project. If anyone wants to help, they are free to contribute, money, time or skills, whatever they have.

Braille documents can be produced under contract by many agencies, including the American Printing House for the Blind http://www.aph.org. Many blind call center employees also use electronic documentation with speech or braille output software.

I bought some white vertical blinds awhile back but after they were up for awhile I didn't like them as much.
I'm wondering if I could somehow glue some material onto the slats themselves or possibly hang sheers/light material off the blind clips after removing the blinds.
Has anyone done either of these things before?
Any suggestions as to which would be best? I don't want to buy new blinds!

Pale blue and white engulfs me
chilled air nips my eyes, but i can still see
my solitude purges me of worldly distraction
as the isolation offers freedom from judgement

the pale blue displays it's shades of trancendance
as the white cleanses my thoughts of malevolent ambitions
i reflect on every false promise of fulfillment
from the blind material world where i reside
i condemn anyone's desire for superiority over others
as i aspire to disjoint myself from them

Mother north calls to me
to indulge in her charm and elegance
Mother north does not persecute or discriminate
all i am aware of now
is her ambient winds and scattered leafless trees
erratically shaped branches weave into and against each other
distorting the perception of the snow-bearing clouds above

i liked it loads!
i dont believe its your first poem,
its very complex and left me a bit lost at times, but great use of description.. be a bit more blunt towards the end so the reader can work out what your thinking..
Its hard i know, you dont want to be blatantly obvious yet you cant be too subtle.. one of the hardest things to do in poetry!
but keep up the effort

I mean, all that people around me (in school, @ work, @ the bus stop, in the streets, etc.) talk about is how much money they spent on the shoes they're wearing, the purse they're carrying, the cellphone they have & so on...It's really annoying, especially when you know that there are people out there struggling to make ends meet while others are out there spending money on unnecessary accessories & boasting about it...But the really sad part of all this is that many of these people (I know it for a fact) restrain themselves from purchasing necessary things (even if they're broke) just so they can "be in" & "look cool"...Why is everyone so materialistic & superficial????

well for a short answer - we're human!
and if we didnt have wants and desires we wudnt be working to achieve or strive for it.

if ppl werent materialistic...it wud be an perfect world..but wud a perfect world actually be an ideal world?

I wrote this to DJ Premier beat Recognize from the LOX....

It goes like this

Number one son on heaven and earth
I spitfire through air, fire, water or dirt
You got drama that hurts, I got problems that are worse
They curse my mind, body, soul that first
Require my higher thought for thirst, for knowledge
that reigns supreme so I can enter into the formless angel being
Above the clouds, above the level that clouds the mind, material objects blind, the true sign, the true path that last, the true math,the science, the con-science, the pureness not the violence, disipline let me refine this, I Rep C, just me, in/tell, i genous to the the c, e will be and continue....

Here's my main issue with it:

You put together a bunch of words that might sound good, but you're not saying anything. That's ok if you're not intending to be deep and you're just showing off your wordplay skills, but I'm getting a sense that you were going for something deep. It doesn't matter how deep it looks if there's nothing there when you get to the bottom.
