A lot of guys who buy Playboy like to say that they read the articles. Playboy even sells shirts with this phrase.
"I Read the Articles."
It's sort of a joke, but Playboy tries to write articles that sound good in and of themselves, making it at least 'possible' that some people really would only buy the magazine for it's articles. Well, a while back, Playboy offered a brail edition of their magazine for blind people, but after a few years, they discontinued it. So, in doing to, they short-changed the only people who REALLY DID just want to read the articles. LOL! This story is funny, but true.
Kind of hard to read when the pages stick together ; )
I did check the website for answers but all i found was the page number of the article I read. I believe it's page 88 of the October 2009 issue.

I believe I'm red-green color blind but still, I want to work in the fashion industry.
My uncle was color blind YET in his earlier days he was a professional photographer and later he was a commercial artist.! He was excellent at charcoal sketches, but if he chose to work in oils his wife had to chose his paints to get the correct colors.
I saw a review in People magazine on this book. It talked about how he struggles with his new sight, seeing his wife for the first time. How at times he wished to go back to the familiarity of blindness. Any ideas please?:)

When I awoke from the wondrously vivid dream, my heart plummeted. I had not discovered a secret tunnel out of that horrid dormitory and escaped through it to freedom. I was not safely at home with my mom and sisters as we gathered around our kitchen table, about to eat lunch. I was actually lying in a Government of British Columbia bed, surrounded by bland white institutional walls and the beds of four other boys. I stoically willed myself not to cry as the cold light of day revealed the reality I had to face.
