Machine For The Blind

My boyfriend has a really crappy board(so he says--I know jack shit about skateboards) and he's always complaining about it, so I thought I would get him a new board for Christmas, but don't really know which board to get, because again, I don't know anything about skateboards! I've asked my friends and they've all given me different views on which ones suck and which are good, so which boards do you think are the best and why?? Please don't say crap like, "OMGs, u Sucks" or anything stupid like that. I just need to know which boards are good. He's about intermediate(he knows how to ride and he can do basic tricks). Please remember to include your reasons on why your favorite board is the best, please don't just say the brand name with no explanations

i need some music or bands i could listen to while drawing- music like:
florence and the machine- blinding
black eyed peas- meet me halfway
and stuff that's just calming like instrumental music
music just really brings out my creativity.

When I already have general ideas of what to draw, I love to listen to techno. I'm very picky about what kind I like so I make playlists for myself on youtube with songs I've found I like. I like it because it is upbeat and fast pace but simple and without words to distract me. When I want to draw but am not sure of what to do and am hoping for inspiration, I Google feelings + lyrics of how I am feeling or something general that is similar to something I am going through. ie- "heart broken lyrics", or "tired lyrics". (Don't use quotes in your search though or it will look for only things that specifically have those words in that order all together.) Then I just open up a bunch of tabs of the lyrics or try them on youtube til I get something that 'strikes a chorde' for me. :)

System of A Down and A Perfect Circle/Tool usually get me into a good creative mood.
