What is that language known as?
Just 'Sign-Language'(as applicable to the deaf and mute)? Or by any other name?
Where the language for blind-deaf is taught in India? Is it required to hire person(s) like Big-B or Sanjay Leela Bhansali for such job? I am just curious to know, my children are not handicaped in any form though.
Deaf people in different countries have their own Deaf Languages
In the U.S and Canada A.S.L. (American Sign Language) is the official language of the Deaf. It has it's own grammatical structure and therefore it is a Language.
Sign language is really not considered a language, it is a form of gesture or signs to convey messages, although Sign Language (so called as a language) does maintain it's meaning, in other words the meaning is not lost.
In the city of Bombay, India, there is a Deaf School in Bandra, I don't know about Deaf-Blind.
Inspired by "Love Language" by the Jubilee Project. PW Video Contest entry by Ryan Sima and James Hong.
I'd rather be blind. Not hearing the voice of my best friend or music.. That would suck! Be if you were deaf than you wouldn't have to learn like the little dot language for blind people which I'm sure is complicated to begin with....
But anyways, which one would you rather be?
as much as enjoy music i'd rather be deaf than blind.

I read that it's rare for a person to be born both deaf and blind. They would usually loose the other one later. But what if they were? How do they learn? Or do they? Do they think? You wouldn't be able to read braille or lips. Would you just be in alive 'black hole'? But since they wouldn't techniquely be brain dead....The thought came from wondering what language bilingual people think in? I think in the only language I know. Some of my friends think in both, depending on the situation. Which language(s) do you use to think? Do you know anyone who was born both deaf & blind?
I know about Helen Keller, but she lost her senses after she was born. I'm saying if you were BORN without both.
Helen Keller was born both blind and deaf.

im looking for the name of the language, like how the deaf use sign language
for those who dont know what im talking about, im refering to the little dots you see on the doors of bathroom, blind people are suppose to feel these dots
Braile
tell me which one and why?i would rather be deaf because it would be SO creepy to not see anything and just see pitch black. it really creeps me out. and sure, someone could make as much noise as they want behind me and i wouldnt know, but having to see nothin but darkness would be so horrible for me. but the thing is, i LOVE music an dim listening to it right now, and it would be hard not to listen to music that i love! also, to know what people are saying, i could learn how to read lips and sign language. while blind, i can already hear but it seems hard to learn braille. well thanx! i was just curious what other people thought!
THANX FOR THE REASONS. : /
Excellent Question! I have thought about this alot actually, because my son is deaf. I believe I would do better as a blind person, especially since I already have sight, so I know what things look like. I would miss the sunsets and the beach and the faces of those i love, but the memories of all that are still in my head to replay whenever i want.To be deaf is worse, because we have no idea how we rely on sound. My son couldn't hear the waves or the music we love%2

Language learning for the blind
Some people said that it made learning braille more difficult, but it is not true. Students that are not visually impaired have to learn the phonetic alphabet as well. In this respect the blind are not at a disadvantage, which is quite rare.
Nonetheless, the cost to fabricate embossed documents, with or without phonetic signs, means high prices, and that limits the access to knowledge for many blind students.
