Printing Braille

I need to send a letter to a business friend who is blind and can only read Braille. However, I cannot seem to figure out how to accomplish this.

Is this a service any retail chains like Kinkos would provide, or is there somewhere I could call that would be able to point me in the right direction?

I live in Texas and I work for a lighthouse for the blind. I was given a project to update our current job application, which is in large print. I also had the idea to create one in braille so that employees that are totally blind can fill one out without much aid of someone that can see. I think it is a good way for them to become more independent. I know that banks will send bank statements out in braille, but what does everybody else think?

That is a good idea.

You can print in braille, but you can't do that with a typical printer. There are printers out there to print in braille on the market which will run you $1000 and up.

Drive-thru takeaway, they clearly didn't think that one through! Its like putting braille in an art gallery...
I guess on modern london buses, they've installed a voice that says each name of the stop (like the tube), but if you get one of the old buses then youre buggered

I currently want to make some of my writing in braille. I know how to translate it on the computer but i want to have it printed it out so a blind person can read it. I know there are braille printers but i really just want a company that i can send a file to them and they can mail it to me in braille.

In the United States, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sets standards for accessible design. There is a rather large document at this site http://www.usdoj.gov/crt/ada/stdspdf.htm that gives the ADA Standards for Accessible Design. In public buildings, the location of signage, design of bathrooms and water coolers, doorways, etc., etc., etc. are all governed by accessibility standards that put things like signs in a particular location. Where to seek access to braille signage is something that all schools for the blind teach.
