I have to do a biography on someone inspriational...i want to do it on someone that was handicap... i might do louis braille(inventor of braille and was also blind) but i kind of want to do someone else...not helen keller bc she is already done... the handicapness doesnt have to be blind...it can be any kind of handicap. the bottom line is basically a handicap person who helped OTHER people regardless of there problems...
There are many inspirational people from whom to choose, including:
Christy Brown, who suffered from cerebral palsy and was the author of "My left Foot."

Angel Wallenda, of the Flying Wallenda's, a family of highwire walkers. She lost a leg to cancer, then went on to walk the high wire again.

... and perhaps most inspiring of all, Christopher Reeve.

I just read the book "Famous Peacemakers in the History".
It comprises the Commendation & Biography of Nelson Mandela, Arun Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Louis Braille, Helen Keller, Mhatma Gandhi, Dalai Lama, Florence Nightingale, Jehan Sadat, Lord Baden Powell & Lady Baden Powell.
What makes me surprise is... ALL of them were vegetarians (as I know). This book is nothing about vegetarianism. But is that a co-incidence these peasemakers/humanitarians were vegetarians, or were there any other "motivation" for them to stay vegetarianism?
There's nothing to do with that. There many straight edges (we are vegans) that are pretty violent. Of course there are also good and pacific people (like me) but being vegan is not the same.
Enjoy yourself!
I want to do an biography about a handicap famous American, but I don't know who I'm going to do, please help me choose one, and explain why you choose that person, you can not choose Helen Keller or Louise Braille because almost everybody knew them.
no actor or actress
How about Marlee Matlin? Born deaf, she has become a world-class actor and is an Academy Award and Golden Globe winner for Children of a Lesser God (1987. She has been nominated for many other roles, both in movies and on TV. You can see her dance, although she can't hear the music, on the new season of Dancing With the Stars.

Feeling a bit silly ????
So you should !!!! Now please.. don’t tell people how to answer……when you tell me not to do something.. well it just makes me want to do it !!!
