Zen Audio Book

I have a creative zen nano plus player, it said it transfered but I can't locate the file to play it. Is there anything specific I need to do for my player to detect the file?

I used Itunes to do it, and it was just like transferring any other cd to my ipod. I put it in the drive, it asked if I wanted to add it to my ipod, and it just did it. I can't imagine it being that different for other players. Do you have the most current software installed?

Zen, as with all of Buddhism, is fundamentally about meditation practice. In fact, the world "zen" is the Japanese translation of the Sanskrit word for "meditation."

So if you'd like to benefit from Zen, you'll need to practice meditation. Fortunately, you don't need to meditate for 10 hours a day, or travel to far-off mountain temple. Zen meditation is something you can do once each day for 15 minutes and gain enormous benefit.

As far as reading goes, it can be helpful to inspire you in your meditation practice. I recommend avoiding books by scholars (D.T. Suzuki) or enthusiasts (Watts, Pirsig) - while these have their virtues, none of them express the essence of this ancient tradition.

Instead, you might consider the two modern classics on Zen:

I want to be able to play audio books faster. does the zen X-fi have this option? Or is there anything I can do to achieve this?

i don't think you would be able to do so using the player itself.
however, you can use a software in PC for changing the speed of audio files only without changing pitch or anything else.
You can use some programs like
MP3 speed accelerator (http://mp3-speed-accelerator.smartcode.c om/info.html)
but it costs a little bit.
I am still searching for free software. Tell me if you find.

I'm looking for a site where I can download audio books onto my creative zen vision (its like an ipod) I will pay for the book, it doesn't have to be free but mainly I want meg cabot books and paul zindel books. I tried audible.com and i got some meg cabot books but not all of them, and no paul zindel books. please help me!
