Robert Jordan's widow is not giving his audio books or even regular books away for free.
Anyone that does is stealing. The person responsible for the theft can earn jail time and fines of $150,000.
This is the only book in the wheel of time series not available in audio format. Every website I check says it is no longer available. Why is that?
You can download it here:

I have a long drive to work and I have come to love audio books.
I started my audio book journey with great books but they where read in a dry matter. I then found the Harry potter series on audio I enjoyed the reader so much that I have now been listening nonstop to long series books on my way to work. So i want to now if anyone has suggestions on audio books that not only are a great book but are read in a pleasing way. like the harry potter and the Wheel of Time series.
here is a list of others i have listened to and enjoyed.
Harry Potter
DragonLance
Wheel of time
Lord of the rings (the hobbit)
Narnia
Sword of truth (terry goodkind)
mistborn (Sanderson)
inheritance cycle (Christopher Paolina)
You might try the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. I've only read the text version, but those are great, and my friends who have the audiobooks have enjoyed them.
Although David Sedaris is more off-the-wall dry humor than fantasy, I've really enjoyed his readings of his books.
Totally excited to start this journey!!I have recently come into the whole series on Audio book and need the advice of as many people as possible that are fans. Question is do you think I should listen the the prequel "New Season" before starting on book 1 "Eyes of the World" . I am leaning towards just starting the series and then doing the prequel as the author planned because only one of the planned 3 prequels are out. I am just thinking of Star Wars and how much I wished I had watched it from Episode 1 on as my nephews have. Still nothing like being 7 years old and seeing Episode 4 in a theatre in 1977!!!
The prequel, "New Spring", is not critical to understanding the story. I'm not saying it is unimportant. It does provide background information, but you can read it whenever you want. It is about a young Aes Sedai beginning a quest, and gaining her warder (armsman). It takes place 20 years before the Wheel of Time series begins.
Robert Jordan died Sept. 16, 2007, and the series is being completed by another author from notes and writings that Jordan did before his death. I have heard nothing about any other prequels being penned.

Last Friday Irish Jon invited me over for lunch. He had learnt a new dish from Jamie Oliver's cook book, most of the 11 years I've known him he has only ever cooked pasta or ordered an Indian take away. We had chicken Goulash with rice. It was very nice and moorish. He's been working cleaning the house after his partner C had been away exploring China by herself. She was due back on Saturday We are old friends and we chatted in front of the open fire about books and music, we also listened to a audio book in companionable silence, "An Utterly Impartial History of Britain". I laughed out loud at some of the things our royal family used to get up too that they never told you in school. Then...
