The Power Of Now Audio Book

In most of the audio books by Eckhart Tolle, one male voice asks Eckhart different questions, and the voice sounds so much like the actor Keanu Reeves. Does anyone know who's voice that is? (it's not Eckhart)...there's also a female voice...wondering who that is?? just curious...!

the only person mentioned in any of the reviews is Eckhart so I very much doubt that anyone like Keanu Reeves is also on the CD. I would have expected there to be some sort of acknowledgement at least of other voices in the notes accompanying the audio book and would suggest you might find your answer hidden there.

I enjoy listening to self improvement audio books in my car while I drive. To give you an idea of the type of audio programs I like, my favorites are The Now Habit, the Rich Dad series, a couple from Brian Tracy, Goals (by Zig Ziglar), The Power of Positive Thinking, etc.

Do you have any suggestions for good audio books?

I like Brian Tracy`s Eat that frog. a couple from Brian tracy do you mean several audio books by Tracy or is it the name of the audio book?

This story has been like 2 years in the making up till now i'm actually gathering info. to develop the story it is the story of a kid named "AJ" (pronouced age idk if thats how you would pronounce it) he has a twin sister, a brother and a family friend as Aj grows up to his late 14 yrs of age he begins to question certain things eventually becoming a philosopher i'll give him experiences that i myself have experienced as well as all my philosophical views, high school his wisdom increases slowly Aj begins to put the pharse "anything is possible" to the test what does Aj want to be u ask he'll be emperor of this world. he knows that his task will not be easy and that the world can't be a perfect place of harmony but he will try his best to keep the world stable enough to bring a sense of harmony, little does he know that he has powers. I wanna make this story as possible as the real world. setting will be our modern world, because this is a huge project of course they will be extra characters involved other than the 4 i just mentioned. i have gathered songs that helped me develop scenes for the story, i also manged to find a way on Microsoft Word to play audio clips of the characters, with music in the background, sound effects basically my own audiobook ...the story will have twists loops... mmm thats i all its midnight so sry if i didn't make certain things clear just e-mail me to clear things up b4 u comment and i'll leave you with a quote from Aj

Story idea and work on it seems interesting.
Can only think of one suggestion: put an 'e' after Aj (or Aaj?) unless you plan to write a 'sounds-like' after the first mention of the name.
As for what this ends out to be 'real time' that depends on how you ultimately see the finished product.
Most work shows itself at least by then to be screenplay, novel or TV show; sometimes all three though it can't be marketed as all three at once.

Once you complete all revisions, it would be best to get an agent in one or all fields (some know all of them). Getting an agent, if you have yet to publish anything, will take time. Suggest you read the first section of the current issue of The Writer's Market; study all aspects of it and you'll see what is involved with any type of publication in any field.

If you don't want to buy the book, you can copy relevant pages (quite a few) at a public library and/or study it there and make notes of what you need to know. The book is also online with all recent updates, but costs (very inexpensive) $3.99 a month to see it all. Take a look:

People thought the newest Maximum Ride book is called 'Waterwings' but it issssn't. I found that it's actually just called 'Max' and I can prove it. (Sorry just feel hyper about this and must tell people.)

What a relief. I thought it was going to be about saving the fishes...personally i didn't really like the 4th book but this one sounds great. I hope its written like the first three books. I can't wait!

For around five years now, I have been noticing a steady decline in the power of my memory, both short and long term. I'm 25 years old now and half of everything that my ears hear and my eyes see can't be remembered the next day. I'm good at remembering number sequences six or seven digits long for a day or two if I only hear them once, but when I listen to audio books or read a regular book I have trouble remembering what I read last night, let alone a year ago. I read a lot of informational books and much of what I read tends to run into each other when I try to recall it from my long term memory a month or two later.

Things will run together, even small things. For example, a year ago my favorite drink if I go to the bar was a chocolate cake. I knew exactly the mixture of ingredients back then. I still order this drink once a month or so, but as time went on I start confusing things. I can't remember if the citron vodka is 60% or the frangelica. One is 60% the other is 40%, but it runs together in my mind now and I can't remember, just as I can't remember whether it's a lemon or a lime that goes with it anymore. Things that seem close together like that run together in my mind all the time.

People that I have known for a long time can remember all sorts of detail about things from our past also. When they bring them up, I start to vaguely remember what they're talking about, but not in the vivid detail that they can.

I also struggle with names. I get introduced to people usually between 3 to 4 times before I can remember their names. It makes me feel rude. Especially when my girlfriend can meet someone once and remember their name a week later when I can barely remember the person if she describes them to me.

I want to be able to remember the things that I learn. I try to continue my education on many subjects, as I drive semi, through audio books. I cannot remember most of what I listen to and what I do remember is usually sketchy. If I had the memory of my girlfriend, or half the other people that I know, I would be on my way to being a genius with the amount of material that my eyes and ears consume :o)

How come everyone else seems to have the great memory that I used to have when I was 18, but mine continues to go downhill each and every year? Should I see a doctor about it? What can I do to change it?
