Sue Grafton Audio Book

A young man is run off the road and framed for his best friend's death, struggles with physical therapy, and then is run off the road again and killed this time. He has a younger drug addict sister. In the audio version, he's one of my favorite secondary characters.

What's the novel? Who did the audio? And did you like it, too?

C is for Corpse. Amazon says it was read by Judy Kaye. I read it in print and it was alright. I liked A better.

Mystery author Sue Grafton is interviewed by Barbara Peters of Poisoned Pen Press and Bookstore, Arizona

Looking to get in better shape so I'm finally going to use that tredmill in the basement. I'm new to audio books, but I'm sure the great minds of Y!A participants know how to help me out.

I'm low on budget, just to put that out. My needs include a book that is long enough to keep me entertained, and good enough to have replayed until I have money to buy more. I'm open to genres, and am fairly good with vilence and themes like that. I do have some books to give you ideas, and some no-no's that I won't get.

I'm into some fantasy, but am currently testing the water in the mystery genre. Sue Grafton was amazing, and I'm also a fan of Cornelia Funke. I'll add some more if you want them. The only real problem I have is I will not buy the Harry Potter ones. I can't read the books, so I won't be able to take the CD.

May I suggest that you can check out audio books at most libraries and that you can rent audio books at some video stores. This might help your stretched budget.

When I listen to audio I tend to listen to stuff that I normally don't like to read, because often times I like it on audio.

I listened to Eragon on audio and loved it by Paolini. It's pretty long and involved and I also listened to Eldest.
I also listened to the entire Series of Unfortunate Events on Audio. The narrator was Tim Curry and he was great.
