What is your favourite Stevie Wonder album?
stevie wonder

I can't decide between 'Innervisions' and 'Talking Book', but I know 'Songs In The Key Of Life' is a popular choice.

Innervisions. But that whole chunk of them he did (from Music of My Mind to Songs in the Key) is maybe the greatest back-to-back series of albums ANYBODY ever came out with. Talking Book (besides the two hits) has "Maybe Your Baby," an alltime footstomping classic. And Songs (even though it's a bit preachy in places) has (in addition to the hits) the beautiful "Knocks Me Off My Feet" and "Joy Inside My Tears."

What are your favourite Stevie Wonder albums?

I only really know "Talking Book", "Innervisions", and "Songs In The Key Of Life"...Any suggestions would be welcome

The three recordings to which you allude are indeed classic; I would add the recording that he made between "Inner Visions" and "Songs in the Key of Life": "Fulfillingness' First Finale", which includes the hit "Boogie on, Reggae Woman", the anti-Nixon paean "You Haven't Done Nothin'", and the oft-covered classic "Creepin'".

Stevie wonder question?

since I asked a few weeks back what albums to check out I have bought
songs in the key of life
the definitive collection
talking book
innervisions

I would like to know the album "characters" is worth getting as I heard it has a duet with mj,(not sure the name of the song)

Does he have any good live dvd's?

Morning Colin!

I am not a massive fan of Stevie Wonder, but I have heard enough of him to feel that you probably already have the best of his output with those 4 Albums. "Characters" I have not actually listened to in it's entirety, but here is a review from Rolling Stone which you may find interesting.

The Duet is called "Get It", and tbh, it sounds like a MJ track, and a poor one at that!

Am I Stevie Wonder's greatest fan?

I've loved him for going on 40 years. I have all his albums, including Talking Book, Innervisions, Hotter Than July and right up to A time to Love. I also saw him perform live, at the Birmingham NEC in the 80s and he was stunning. I listen to his music every day and will almost certainly have his music on my last journey, when I depart this mortal coil!!!!

I used to love hearing "I just called to say I love you" by Stevie Wonder. His music is great. You may be his greatest fan. Do you have his boxed set called "At the Close of a Century"? If you do, you're right up there with his best fans of all time.

can someone help me with a book?

I read Last Shot: A Final Four Mystery, and I've been doing a powerpoint on it. I was out of skool on Friday, and i wasn't able to get my book from my locker. Now the powerpoint is due tomorrow, and i need to know a brief summary of what happens after Stevie and Susan Carol talk to Chip. Please help
