Odd Thomas Novel. Is there a Goof? (Maybe)?

A friend of mine let me listen to her audio book version of Odd Thomas which i loved but after thinking about it for awhile i think i found a goof at the end regarding stormy. If she has passed away how is she able to discribe who is there and what little ozzi is wearing (and clams making up that story later in the book). this is when she first comes to visit him after he comes to. also she tells him about he the story cheif porter puts together. I understand everything after that beacuse he doesn't meantion her speaking to him. Was something missing in the Audio book or Was I? Please Help. I really loved this book and I'm hoping to get book 2 sometime very very soon.


In the end of the book, Stormy and him talk with each other in a pretence to make you still think she's alive. The last few chapters of the book focus on his understanding that she is not alive and that those conversations they had were really him talking for them both.
