Can you really die from thinking? Reference from The Law of Success by Napoleon Hill?

So, I have been listening to The Law of Success audio book, and today, it said that people have died from thinking that their throats had been cut, when in fact, it was ice, and they just heard water dripping like it was blood. Is that really true? I was amazed when I heard it.
Well, obviously Napoleon Hill isn't going to lie about it.
And I mean when someone thinks that they are already dying from either illness or other means. When they aren't.

No, you cannot die from thinking too much. You can become obsessed with seeking answers, some of which have no answers. That is not mentally healthy. But it won't kill you.
