Mp3 To Audio Book

I have about 200 hours of audio books and would like to transfer them to 20 or more cds, so that I can play them on a cd player.
I obtained 86 audio books on three mp3. The majority of them are about 140 min long and contains snippets of music...1 or 2 min.
I would assume that these books were once on a couple of cassettes per book.
Each book seems to be made up of 8 files, which are 14 to24 min long.
For instance, on disc 1 there are 417 files of a total of 6100 m bites.
I bought 52 Verbatim cd - r of 700mb capacity and would like to use these, if possible...'cause they were cheap. I hope some of this will be useful.

download them in to windows media player and it will give you option to burn to cd onright hand side drop down menu on windows xp. or use burning software like nero 7. this may not work if the audio books are copy protected.

Not the audio books....but songs...

Plug your 660 into your computer via the usb cable. This will create a virtual drive on your computer. On my computer it is Drive L:, but this will vary based on the other drives you have on your computer. Open this drive. You should see a directory called "Audible". Place your audio books in that directory. I don't know if this requires that they be in Audible format (.aa) for them to show up. The other option would be to put them in the MP3 directory, and treat them like mp3 music files. It should allow you to play them, but the bookmarking, etc. probably won't work.

If the file needs to be in you may be able to find a convert from MP3 to AA format. I found one at http://www.all-music-converter.com/ that might do the job.

Dragging it doesn't help. Changing the Genre to Book and Spoken doesn't help... and typical of all the Apple web site doesn't work.

Just by changuing the folder's destiny in the options configuration.

I have an audio book I want to burn. It's 1.10GB on 79 MP3 files. When I try to burn it in Windows media player it tells me I will need 79 cd's!
How can I burn it onto one or two discs that will play on my car CD. (Can I use CD-R disks?)

It's not a case of can you use CD-R, it's a case of what your car cd will play.
Will your car cd play mp3s if not media Player is correct you will need 79 cds because mp3s are about 10% or less of a wav type audio file found on ordinary cds. If your car player will play mp3 or better still wmas then open MP and right click burn, change audio cd to data cd and ask with more help with burning. Sorry but I use Nero
