Library Audio Book

im trying to get audio book i got from the library onto itunes for my ipod....it consists of 6 discs and i keep getting track 1 6times, track 2 6 times, im getting on a bit in years so could someone give me step by step account of how do it please!!!!

the library requires you use a program called Overdrive Audio book reader, which is not compatible with mac, anyone have any ideas how to get around this so I can listen to the audio books I've checked out?

i had the same problem, unfortunately, it's just incompatible and you can't do anything.

Probably.

The library certainly doesn't police this. They don't even want to. And even if they wanted to, how would they know?

I have several MP3's that are audio books, but when I import them into itunes, they are added into my music section and not the Audiobook section. How can I fix this?

The easiest way is to convert them to audiobook (m4b) format. You can convert it to aac format, then rename the file extension to .m4b - this usually works. There are also tons of free apps that will convert them for you.
