greetings,
seriously, no requests on Japanese topics, but enjoy this if you want!
Well I'm trying to learn Japanese, I recognize its a little cliché and I don't expect to be positively fluent or whatever just know enough to build on.
I'd like to find a site where I can find a FREE Japanese audio book. No samples or anything that expects to pay after it starts getting good. Any info would be appreciated

I've wanted to learn Japanese for a while, and have just recently started to get around to it. I've gotten plenty of free instruction and vocab and stuff online, but I want something with CDs that go along with lessons that show you how to pronounce the words correctly. I'm doing fine with my other stuff, but some words I'm having trouble figuring out how to prounounce and I just want to make sure I get the sounds right. Has anyone else used a program they liked, either for your computer or with CDs or tapes?
i'd say go with rosetta stone. they use the vocabulary you're learning in context so it'll help you when it comes time to converse with a native speaker. plus, it's pretty thorough, and allows you to focus on any issues that are giving you trouble. it's a quick learn too.
good luck with whatever program/system you choose.
japanese isn't the easiest. i'm impressed.
Anyone know where i can find a good Japanese audio book for free that will help me learn Japanese?
You can try some podcasts.
