Where can I find a copy of an Elizabeth Haydon audio book?

have looked EVERYWHERE for a copy of Elizabeth Haydon's Rhapsody Child of Blood on audio book. I have received part of the audio book, so I know it exists, but the person who had the audio book is never online to get the rest from.

(p.s. yes, I've tried amazon.com and all the other usual places)

I'm happy to purchase the audio book, I just cannot find WHERE it is available for purchase! I've read this series several times and would now really love to have the audio books. I've contacted the publisher with no response yet. Any thoughts? Does anyone out there by any strange stroke of luck have this book on audio book? (and dare I hope for the entire series on audio book to be out there somewhere??)

i suspect that what you have is home-made

i have checked various sites for different editions available (including the publishers site) - there are numerous hardback,paperback,e-book editions but no mention anywhere of an audio book

Why do I find it hard to read books?

When I was younger I used to be able to read pretty well, even out loud to big audiences. But now I struggle to do that. It's not the fact I can't understand what the words say but I just find it difficult to focus on reading. I think in the past 5 years I have read about 3 books (not even big books at that). I want to be able to sit down and enjoy reading a book but.. I just can't! Even with no distractions I lose interest after I've read the first page. My friends find it quite amusing. I however, don't.

I've got a few audio-books and yes, they are better but they are also a bit too pricey for me.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Maybe you just have to find something more specific. I don’t know really, but it seems to me that you are not focused. Maybe you have to realize first, what is important to you, than answer the question – what kind of literature can suit your needs and your character. It’s not necessary and perhaps it’s not possible to enjoy all kinds of literature. That’s the reason why you have to find your own field and to enjoy it.

SMS is basically texting.
Calling time and standby time are how long you have for your battery to last. i.e. If you have a fully charged battery, you can call someone and talk for 2-5 hours before it dies. Same with standby.

Why Do Book Readers Always Say the Book Is Better Than The Film?

I love watching films, much much more than reading books. It’s the Audio and Visual experience that I don’t get from reading a book that I love the most… when did you ever read a book with an original music score?

What annoys me is the amount of times I hear the saying “the book is much better than the film”.

Yes it maybe if you enjoy reading books but what about people like me who much prefer to see the film?

What does everyone think, is the book always better?
So far the majority of people are saying film always leaves parts out which of course it does due to time restrictions. I think what you need to take into account is there different mediums. The film just takes the main essence of the story and compresses it into 2 hours, layering it with visuals and audio.

The two end products shouldn’t really be compared as much as they are as they are quite different. I just gets to me why people who read books write movies off with such ease.
For the record I'm not saying books are bad, far from it.
I'm just asking why so many book fans say the films are bad.

I never 'write' off any film as they are, at the end of the day an interpretation of a book and can't possibly (nor should they want to) capture the imagination of every person that has read the book. I agree that films look at a story through different eyes and offer an alternative interpretation which is interesting and valid in its own right. Things like soundtracks, visuals, alternative scenes or compressions can be interesting.

However the thing with reading is it something that is personal, even when reading a multi-million best seller. People create their own worlds and prose and can be intensely protective of this. It is almost like protecting their memories! It may not always be logical, but it is real and valid as emotions are.
