You've already been given some good sites to check. You can also find some of the books for which you are looking at Gutenberg, which is both a free and a legal site.
Tess of the d'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy - http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/9433
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/20686
Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne - http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/8982
White Fang by Jack London - http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/23976
Various Williams Shakespeare titles - In the advanced search http://www.gutenberg.org/catalog/world/s earch - type in Shakespeare as author and, under category, first click on "Audio Book, human-read (434)" and then "Audio Book, computer-generated (367)" and you will find quite a number of William Shakespeare's works.
I didn't find Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, but Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte is available in audio format - http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/23077 - if you are interested.
I'm not sure which works of Greek mythology you want to find.
I hope that helps.

Kindle an early love of reading
Storybook learning comes to life with a friendly bookworm, lights and sing-along nursery rhymes.
okay so my mom has been talking about a electronic reader that opera gave away on her show...what brand is that one?? and also where can i get it im on a very tight budget so what other ones are like that im talking about something like the kindle it might even be the kindle that opera gave away im not sure but where can i get one of these electronic books cheap and what are the best brands?? my moms not GREAT with technology but she can manage so nothing too high tech she just wants to be able to read buy books and also a way to enlarge the font when she reads would be great thanks in advanced!!
I'll suggest you to choose sony reader PRS-505. It is quite a lot cheaper, and many people like it more than the Kindle 2 because it has better PDF support. See a review below, it compares the latest versions of the Kindle and the Sony Readers, given by an actual user:

Hope it helps.
I asked for a Sony Reader for Christmas, and when I talk to friends about it, they tell me "I thought that the electronic book business isn't going so well, and they were going to discontinue the readers soon." I've not heard this and have only heard about how everyone loves their Kindle. Is there any truth that they will be discontinued soon?
Of course not. At least not for the Amazon Kindle. You know, the Kindle device is the top seller of the whole Amazon website. It is selling crazy, even better than any books sold on Amazon.
If you're deciding between the Sony or the Kindle, I'll say the Kindle 2. Read here to know more:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?i e=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ama zon.com%2Freview%2FR266PE1Q47CYNH%3Fie%3 DUTF8%26ASIN%3DB00154JDAI%26nodeID%3D%26 ref%255F%3Dcm%255Fcr%255Fpr%255Fcmt& tag=more_info-20&linkCode=ur2&ca mp=1789&creative=390957
I own the Kindle 2 and I like it very much. It is better than Sony Reader because Amazon provide good content support, and the number of books available in Kindle format is kept on increasing (right now there are 300,000 Kindle books). Sony Reader, however, many users complain that it is difficult to find suitable books, and books on it are more expensive than the Kindle. Other benefits of the Kindle over Sony Reader include the free wireless internet access, and the text-to-speech function.
Hope this helps.

New Jersey: Public Libraries Expected to Slash Services Due to ...
The New Jersey Public Libraries system is faced with a deep hole to climb out of in the wake of Gov. Chris Christie’s March 16 address on statewide budget cuts. The cuts total approximately 50 percent of their state aid and 74 percent of funding for services.
Among the cuts, many important services libraries provide are in danger of being lost completely to the inability to fund them any longer. Things like access to several electronic databases and interlibrary loaning will fall victim to the cuts, according to www.ilovenjlibraries.org , as will many libraries’ access to the Internet and e-mail services.
Additionally, The Talking Book and Braille Center, the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, will be closed, the Web site says.
