Looking for a good Romantic Book Author?

I have a grandmother who is 88 years old and cannot see well enough to read. I recently joined an audio book club and want to choose some great books for her, but don't read much and have no idea who to get. She likes romances and loves all of Danielle Steels books, any other suggestions on good romantic book authors?


Anything by Cathy Kelly. 3 generations of us love her in my family. If I finish one I then pass it on to my 56 year old mother-in-law who then passes it on to her 86 year old mother.

    I too have read several Danielle Steele novels. There fine, just not my favorites. I'm sure I'll read more though. I read Linda Howard's "Burn" recently and even though I found it hard to put down, when I look back on it, the story does not feel true. I'm sure I'll be reading more of her books too.
