Convert Audio Book To Mp3

I downloaded an audio book, but it is in mp3 format. When I put it into Itunes, it comes up in my songs, not my audio books. Is there a way to make it show in audio books?

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I have trouble converting my audiobooks into mp3, so I can listen to it on my media player. I am using windows vista. Every time I try and convert them, it is just like ripping single cds. And when I put them on my media player, the chapters are playing in the wrong order. Are there maybe special converters for the audio-books?

You can rip them that way, then using audacity, create one HUGE mp3 that WOULD be in order. They are playing out of order on your mp3 player, because they are named wrong.

Hi. I have an audio book in mp3 format which i need to convert into audio file and save to a dvd disc to play on a standard cd player as it would take 30 cd's to store the information - is this possible?

I have looked on Nero and see that under the dvd options you can write in .wma format - is this a standard audio file readable by normal car stereos?

I have an audio book as an MPEG-4 audio file (.m4b) and I'd like to convert it to mp3 so that I can put it on a CD and play it from a CD player. Even better would be a separate mp3 track for each chapter (they are somehow split split up within the m4b file). Any ideas?
