Childrens book talking about HIV/AIDS?

I was wondering if anybody knew/could recommend a childrens book where the topic of AIDS is discusses / comes up.

I'm thinking along the lines of a storybook, and not a book geared towards children about learning about AIDS.

I think there may have been a book about Ryan White who contracted HIV/AIDS because he was a hemophiliac and needed the clotting substance from blood. Unfortunately, to get enough of that substance they used thousands of blood donations and back then the blood wasn't tested. He died quite young, but before he died there was quite a battle with the school district because some people didn't want him in the public school with their kids.

  • Review: Josh Earl vs. The Australian Women's Weekly Children's ...

Appearing at: Swiss Club, for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival

I’m not sure why Josh Earl is looking so depressed in the promo pic for this show, nor why he’s “versing” the recipe book that moulded so many Australian ’80s childhoods in combinations of round, square, loaf and ring-tin cakes. His show is actually a rather innocent, joyous celebration of the iconic cookbook produced by magazine.

By extension, it also celebrates a certain daggy but beloved kind of Australian childhood that seems to have been lost; Earl is amusingly disapproving of the new, revised birthday cake book .
