i'd like to find the audio book for black hawk down by mark bowden. where can i find it? and if so, can i download it for free somewhere? I went to our library and they didnt have it so i need to find it somewhere else.

i'm not sure about that exact one but u could try limewire.

and 4shared.com or scribd.com have heaps of free ebooks and audio books u can download.

It was published in 1945. Sorry but it is still under copyright so it is not free.

I like to read urban fiction books but some time i will read the book in a day or two and I will lose track of my day to day agenda so I found audio very useful i can still do what I need to do and read my favorit books ...most of the places online do not have black urban fiction on audio so can any one point me In the right direction.

Check your public library to see if they bought the audio books. That would be legal.

Otherwise audio books for books written after 1923 online would be illegal. The author wants payment. The actor reading the book wants payment. The sound engineers want payment and the equipment must be paid for.

Librivox is legal because the books are out of copyright and the people that read them are volunteers.

I would like to listen to the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series by J.R. Ward, the Vampire Kisses books, and The Vampire Diaries Series but I can not find a site that has these books on audio. Can someone please help? The site would have to be free and when I say free I mean free. No hidden fees of any kind. If you could help that would be great.

Those books are under copyright so you will not be able to legally listen to them for free. If any of these were online, they would be stolen property and I do mean stolen!

You can check your public library and see if they bought the audio books. You can check them out for free.

It is unfair to take an author's books and put them online for free. That deprives the author of his livelihood. Stealing an audio book would also be depriving the actor who reads the book and the sound engineers their livelihood.

"In a civil suit, an infringer may be liable for a copyright owner's actual damages plus any profits made from the infringement. Alternatively, the copyright owner may avoid proving actual damage by electing a statutory damage recovery of up to $30,000 or, where the court determines that the infringement occurred willfully, up to $150,000.
