Basicly , I have this book from the library called :
BBC ACTIVE TALK JAPANESE
And on page 98 , there is this chart of Japanese Letters katakana and hiragana.
I only use this book for that , So I was wondering if someone could find the chart online for me - or photocopy for me , so I can print it and take it out with me.
Thanks :D

Where can I find that BBC News night episode that is talked about in the book 'Broken' by Shy Keenan?

I've been reading the book 'Broken' by Shy Keenan and a BBC News Night programme was released about the case in around 2001 and I was just wondering if there was anywhere I could watch this?

you can find that episode on YouTube.

X Factor crisis talks? Obviously ITV has taken a page out of the BBC Question Time book, yes?

Only watched X Factor once, before realizing it was made merely for poor sods who can't afford to go out at the weekend, with TV dinners & white cider ready to be consumed nearby. And now...in order to have more people (like me & thee) talking about it - and perhaps even watch it, 'sources at the programme' are telling The Sun of 'shock results'. Just wondering if they will thank the 14-day hype from the BBC concerning a certain Mr. Griffin...who is far more racist than Mrs. Cole will ever be.
No, Sean...but FFC.
Sapphire...you know this! In order to get us all watching, such 'kick-offs' usually end up in the populist papers...or on Radio 1. It has nothing to do with what is actually happening - they still want to wipe the floor with Strictly Come Dancing, and so story after story will be - er...leaked to the popular press. It's a game I'm sure you know about!
...Fulham Football Club (London, Eng.)

does this mean the results as 'chosen by the public' are not what the producers want, and they plotting to get things their way.

I recall a certain Mt.Tickle being a little too smart for the Big Brother execs do handle (as well as a pain in the bottom with it) and they rigged it to get him off, then ludicrously brought him back when ratings fell!!

What is this book called? It's has to do with the sea/ocean, and I think it's done by the BBC or Discovery

I saw a book in the bookstore a few months ago, and I forget the title, I think it had something to do with the sea or ocean, and it was done by BBC or Discovery channel. I think there's a set of DVD you can get as well (I think it's based off a tv show). It's a big hardcover book full of information on oceans and deep sea life. I really want to get a copy, does anyone have an idea of what book I am talking about?

  • The Ideas of Chomsky-BBC interview | News Minute by Minute

I think it is interesting to see Terrence McKenna and what he think of language, being introduced to humans when we discovered hallucinogens, whitch has really eye-opening similarities all over the world, and cross ages. And it is also interesting that the western countries mostly illigalizr all use of hallucinogens, when they are in many cultures believed to not only enhance your soul and mind, but also give you the experience to communicate more freely to mother nature, only a thought

Actually, Mthooz, that is not a fact, that “the basic grammatical principles of language are made by our biological nature.” It might be Chomsky’s and your perspective on it. If you are referring to the spoken language, I believe it is made by man, just like ljhoeniges said. Sign language I believe has a more “universal” foundation in biological sense.
