Audio Book Player

My mp3 player has an audiobook function, but when I download a book from windows media player, it goes into the music mode and I cannot bookmark. How do I get the download into the audiobook area?

I am trying to fit as many audio books as possible on a 2G mp3 player for a road trip...wondering if I can compress the files to 90 kbps and still get decent audio quality.

I've compressed audio books to 56 kbps without too much quality loss. I'd never do music that low, but IMHO, books are just fine as they don't need to be as high quality.

audio books, in general take up a bit more room than an album. although different books are different sizes, as a rule, if your mp3 player is 256mb or bigger (that's MB not GB) then you'll get "a few" on it (2 - 5)

if your mp3 size is measured in GB then you'll get loads on.
hold your mouse over the file containing the audio book and you will be able to see how big it is.
