Audio Book Mp3

I have several MP3's that are audio books, but when I import them into itunes, they are added into my music section and not the Audiobook section. How can I fix this?

The easiest way is to convert them to audiobook (m4b) format. You can convert it to aac format, then rename the file extension to .m4b - this usually works. There are also tons of free apps that will convert them for you.

I have an audio book I want to burn. It's 1.10GB on 79 MP3 files. When I try to burn it in Windows media player it tells me I will need 79 cd's!
How can I burn it onto one or two discs that will play on my car CD. (Can I use CD-R disks?)

It's not a case of can you use CD-R, it's a case of what your car cd will play.
Will your car cd play mp3s if not media Player is correct you will need 79 cds because mp3s are about 10% or less of a wav type audio file found on ordinary cds. If your car player will play mp3 or better still wmas then open MP and right click burn, change audio cd to data cd and ask with more help with burning. Sorry but I use Nero

I just downloaded the audio books for Twilight and New Moon from my local library's website but I can't seem to figure out how to put in on my Mp3. This is my first time using an audio book, and my Mp3 has an application called E-Book. Help me please.

well for my ipod, i buy audiobooks from itunes, then it automatically downloads into my library. sync. and thats it. i can even control how fast or slow i want the audiobook to sound.

I have about 200 hours of audio books and would like to transfer them to 20 or more cds, so that I can play them on a cd player.
I obtained 86 audio books on three mp3. The majority of them are about 140 min long and contains snippets of music...1 or 2 min.
I would assume that these books were once on a couple of cassettes per book.
Each book seems to be made up of 8 files, which are 14 to24 min long.
For instance, on disc 1 there are 417 files of a total of 6100 m bites.
I bought 52 Verbatim cd - r of 700mb capacity and would like to use these, if possible...'cause they were cheap. I hope some of this will be useful.

download them in to windows media player and it will give you option to burn to cd onright hand side drop down menu on windows xp. or use burning software like nero 7. this may not work if the audio books are copy protected.

I am trying to fit as many audio books as possible on a 2G mp3 player for a road trip...wondering if I can compress the files to 90 kbps and still get decent audio quality.

I've compressed audio books to 56 kbps without too much quality loss. I'd never do music that low, but IMHO, books are just fine as they don't need to be as high quality.
