Audio Book Database

I have lots of music and audio books archived to CD-Rs & DVD-Rs that I'd like to copy to my iPod. However, I don't want them taking up space on my hard drive. Is there a way on either Windows or OSX to copy files directly into the iPod's database without having to import them into iTunes first?

YEs, but you have to hack and override the stock mac BIOS, replacing it with a Linux BIOS, then you can do whatever the hey you want with it... by my understanding, you can then network to it (FTP) as if it were another computer.

I want to take the audio files of the art of war and 48 Laws of Power explained audio books and put them so there are 200 to 500 tracks of those audio books and put them in a playlist so I can put it on random repeat playback possibly with playspeed modifications to longer or shorter tracks.

So my question is which is the right 4, 5, or 8 CD version of the art or war that has many audio tracks like the "book" was originally written: IE: a series of loose notes one or three lines long, which also means not a WHOLE BOOK meant to be read Cover to Cover but random notes to be applied in sections of battle plans with modern measurements.

My intention is to use advanced computer information/innovation skills to tutor and train or select critical thinking context and concept mapping Buddhist or biotic mass ethics multimedia editing content for civic service workers or school curriculum peer review academic database administration and specifically volunteers to non-profit staff in an occupation of tutoring and addendum of multimedia content selection and editing as a copyrighted franchise licensed + maintained with a creative commons patent for open source social + environmental activism templates of non-profit development + deployment of information worker skills to the administrators of civil programs such as meals on wheels, domestic violence counselors’ + patrons or admin’s, mental health and other healthcare facilities, college and high school staff/students, military, professionals, SS disability, NA/AA, elderly, perhaps similar to or with programs like Work Keys or Sylvan Learning.

I'm not a programmer, and I don't have the money to fund a developer. But I have an idea for a good program. Maybe someone will see this and decide to make it.

When I listen to audio books or lectures I find myself wanting visual aids to supplement the material. I envision a software program that can play audio, and depending on the words being said it would display various pictures to further nest the thought or idea.

I wouldn't have to be perfect. Some words wouldn't work too well. But for the most part I think it could be made to work. There are plenty of pictures online it could use already. But perhaps a database of pictures suited to this application would be appropriate. I'm not sure. I just know it is too complex for me to make on my own.

Your software has several conceptual problems.
1) You'd need some large database of images.
2) You'd need to use images that don't breach copyright laws.
3) You'd need a large enough storage device to store all your images locally (not feasible), or an internet connection fast enough to find a picture for the word in a fraction of a second (doesn't exist). Though I imagine you could do some looking ahead and pre-caching if you use the internet method.
4) Your program would have to use AI or some kind of dictionary to only display pictures for key words, not every single word.
5) Following from above, the mechanism would also have to define the priority of key words, to ensure that it doesn't do things like show 10 pictures in 3 seconds because there were a bunch of key words in the same sentence.
6) The majority of eBooks are read on non-internet-enabled devices. And those devices which can connect to the internet, aren't on the sort of data plan where you'd want to be download an image every second for several hours.
7) Wherever you source your images from, you'd have to a) ensure they're all tagged with appropriate keywords, and b) are child-safe images. Ie. it's a lot of tedious, manual work.

The Package is in excellent condition. How much, in Australian dollars, is a good price for this product?

I would suggest compare it with the online shops offering such kind of desktop package and make half of the total price what they have for the new one, as you are selling a second hand desktop package.

I don't feel comfortable answering it, actually its more like an ad rather than a question hehe no offense.
