Audio Book Cases

I recently downloaded an audio book that is an MP3 file and for some reason I cannot get it into Itunes. I thought I could do it the same way I do songs but I guess that is not the case. How do you do it?
I did download it from Limewire.

I listen to audio books on my iPod all the time! MP3s are MP3s, how does iTunes know it's speech and not music?

I am wondering if a person was to record themselves reading a novel and then went on to sell this record as an audio-book by burning it to a disc would this be illegal? If this is the case, that it is a illegal, are there any circumstances which it is not illegal?
Ok so on e-bay there are loads of people selling Charles Dickens and Sherlock Holmes audio-books which they say are not professionally produces. Is this illegal and if so why do e-bay allow it?

Yes, because you are selling someone else's work without their permission. There are programs that you can join that have the rights to those books, and not only can you record books for them to sell, but they may also pay you for your time recording those books.

This is the first time I listened to an audio version of a book, because I want to be able to multi-task while I go jogging. When I read the book while listening to the CD, to see if the versions were the same, I realized they weren't. Is this the case for every audio version of a book or is my CD broken?

No, it's not always that way. Sometimes there will be minor differences between an book sold both in Britain and the US, because of variations in language usage, but I suspect you are listening to an abridged version. You should find either the word 'abridged' or 'unabridged' listed somewhere on the case.

An unabridged version should be the complete original work.

'Abridged' versions are edited for length, with varying amounts of content left out, to make the story go faster, or to use fewer CDs (or tapes) for the audibook version. This reduces the cost both to the publisher and the purchaser. And some people actually prefer them as they can get through one book faster to move on to another faster. (I prefer getting the entire book.)

The back of the package reviews the book in the same way the print edition is reviewed.

There is a web address for the publisher of the audio book.

There are details about how many CDs and the running time, as well as the names of those involved in production, direction and the design of the package.

There is a statement of copyright.

The price is included in US and Canadian dollars.

The back of the box reminds us that this recording is also available on audio cassette.

The barcode, product number and ISBN is on the top and bottom of the box, not on the sides, front or back.

The logo for Time-Warner AudioBooks is positioned at the top of each of the narrow sides of the box but is not printed on the back of the box.

Contact info for Time-Warner is on the top of the box.

Some recorded children's books will give a range of ages (as a courtesy) for which the recording is appropriate. Most books do not do this. It is a form of censoring.

First of all i've been searching for these two audio books. I really don't know if the exist.

But if anyone knows where to get them, in case the do exist. The books are.

The libary - good thinking. The public libary doesn't have them, but i have send an email to my university liabary - it it exist - they can find it.

im sorry but i do not know HOWEVER, you can try the public library and tell them that you need these audio books badly. then if they do not have it in the library you can do an interlibrary load. tell me what you did.
