Authors deserve to be paid for their work. Audio books also involve the person that reads the book outloud, a sound studio, engineers and countless other people. Don't steal from them.

Check to see if your public library BOUGHT a copy that you can check out for free.

I have a book review blog. Out of the blue, I received an audio book which was released last month. The audio book came with a card that says "your comments are appreciated." So, I'm supposed to write my comments and then return the card. What kind of comments are they expecting?

If you are familiar with the book (have read it), then you might comment on how well the audiobook was produced compared to the story (did the abridgement make sense) or on whether you enjoyed the story or not.

You should also comment on the performance - if you were able to clearly understand the narrator(s), how the story was paced, if there was anything about the performance that annoyed you (how a word was pronounced, an accent or voice used or how close together the chapters were), was the narrator able to convey the emotions of the story.

If you appreciated that the publisher picked you and you would like to participate in future reviews, then thank them as well for their consideration in sending the audio book to you.

I need to read 10 chapters of a book over the weekend and I figured the best way to do that is with an audio book. I am reading Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry. Can you please help me!!!

If it is available, the library is the best resource. However, not every book published in made into an audio version, and then not every audio recording is made into downloadable audio.
