Audible Audio Book

I like to listen to Audio books on my Ipod. But when I listen to a book they read it to slow. I seed it up all I can on the Ipod but I’m looking for an away to speed it even more. I want to fly threw a audio book.

Try downloading Audacity. It may be able to speed up your audio book. Another thing to try is YAKiToMe! (www.yakitome.com). If you have the text for the book or document you want to listen to, YAK will read it to you at whatever speed you want. The faster speeds are probably faster than you would be able to comprehend, but then again, who knows? YAK turns the text into an audio book podcast. You choose the language, reader, and reading speed.

I'm an inch away from signing up for Audible right now. But I'm not sure if it's really the best deal available. Does anyone recommend another website over this one? Also, are there any hidden fees or rip offs from Audible that anyone knows about?

I think audible is the best one. Audible is owned by amazon which is a trustworthy company, so its not a scam.

Yes, this is true. You can actually get two, unless you want one that requires two download credits. I have been an Audible member for a long time.

I purchased an audio book from Audible.com and downloaded it to Itunes. When I go to sync my Ipod however, the audio book is not included in the sync. How do I get it on my Ipod? I have tried dragging it to my Ipod, but it won't let me.
