American Gods Audio Book

Ok i just started reading the book american gods by neil gaiman right? but im one of those guys who cant stay focused when it comes to books so i want to find the audio to make it easier on myself so can anyone tell me where i can find the American Gods audio book for free?
ok tried the local library site.....they didnt even have American Gods....i think the gods are against me.....i had the i was so close feeling after that....so anyone else have any suggestions?

A lot of public libraries are getting into audiobooks. You can either loan it from the library on CDs, or a lot of libraries now have instant downloads where you have the book in MP3 form for 2 weeks. Check with your local library.

Ok i can't find the free audio books of american gods by neil gaiman so i guess ill try the next best thing...can anyone tell me where i can get full American Gods Chapter Summaries for free??

There's a copy of it on CD at my local library. You can surf library catalogues online in most places, so check that out.

Meteorology

The Jet Stream Ecclesiastes 1:6 935 BC First discovered by airmen during WW II. See more information here. But look here at Intellicast's current graphical representation of the jet stream and you'll see it matches the Bible's description very nicely. Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. At its peak it's 29,028 feet. Yet the Jet Stream exists from 32,800 and 164,100 feet. Since airplanes didn't' exist in 935 BC, how was the author of Ecclesiastes able to give such an accurate description of the jet stream? Keep in mind that Ecclesiastes was written AFTER all the upheaval of Noah's flood. It is likely that Mount Everest was not as high in 935 BC as it is today, making it even more unlikely that humans could have used mountains to have discovered the jet stream. This is the most thorough explanation of biblical facts I have seen. Good for you! There is also a book called "Science vs. Evolution" also known as the "Evolution Cruncher" which as the name implies, "crunches" this awful theory of evolution that has destroyed the moral values placed by God in our society. For months, the conservatives and the conservative media has been asking Barack Obama why he had or has a relationship with William Ayres, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and ACORN. And his answers have been (at least to us) unsatisfactory.

Perhaps the time has come to ask ourselves why those individuals chose to have a relationship with Barack Obama. Why do they admire him? Why would William Ayres respect and support Obama? Why would William Ayres ask Obama to review his book and put his name on it? Why would Ayres have hosted the meeting that set Obama’s course in politics? These are undeniable facts, not mere speculation or political smears by the opposition.

Now, let us turn to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Millions of Americans saw and heard this man extol the virtues of Obama. The pastor praised Obama for taking a stand on behalf of the poor and downtrodden blacks. He then followed that praise with a hate filled attack against America and white America in particular. This man asked God to damn this country and hailed Obama as “The One” Again, undeniable truth. We saw and heard it.

Finally, we must look at ACORN. Although a positive organization in its concept, it has broken the first law of non-partisanship required by any organization that receives Federal funding. During its own convention, Obama was touted as the one that they needed in the white house and its members were told to go out and get him elected. Millions of Americans have heard and seen the audio and video record of that meeting and it proves that by their own admission, they are indeed partisan not only favoring Obama but commanding their members to work to get Obama elected. Thousands of fraudulent voter registrations have been turned in by representatives of ACORN and already some of the perpetrators of this fraud have been arrested. There is also wide spread testimony by many of those that were legally registered that the person who registered them also told them to cast an early vote for Obama. Again, these are proven facts, not speculation. Why does ACORN want Obama to be elected? What is their agenda?

There is a reason that the old adage “Birds of a feather flock together” is a truism that has withstood the sands of time.

Very simple answer to this. Neither party is good. Neither candidates are good. On any level, that is, from the presidential candiate all the way down to the local level. The Dems have merged with the Reps.

The greatest thing we can do for our country is to vote for all Green party candidates. They mean what they say. They don't talk nonsense. And they follow through if given the chance. I happen to be one of those candidates. I know many of them persoanally. We are for change.

Arrivals say Dajaal and illumnati is already on the plate controlling government. Which is against what the prophet said, that the Dajaal will appear at the end. The arrivals is made by shia's, they have different hadith than us. Muslims who beleive what the arrivals say are not following islam.

It is enough that the series was made by the shia and openly calls to shia aqeedah particularly regarding what would happen in the last days! It is definately shia dawah and propoganda. After that, there are MANY other mistakes in aqeedah, half truths, and speculation that can not be affirmed or proven. Let the community learn the Qur'an and Sunnah with the understanding of the Sahaabah and not waste their time on such nonsense. Any information about masonry etc. should be taken from orthodox scholars of Islam and approved books on firaq wal adyaan. one has to be careful when watching The Arrivals, as not everything in it is based on the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah, and there are several errors mentioned. For example, they mention that a year in God’s measure is like a 1000, while we all know that it’s a day by God’s measure that equals a 1000 years.

Furthermore, the creators of The Arrivals are Shi'a. For example, they claim there is no where in the Qur'an that says that one should be Sunni. They talk about the family of the Prophet (SAW) but miss out Aisha (RA), and the other wives of the Prophet (SAW), and other prominent members of his family such as his dear cousin Abdullah bin Abbas (RA), who was raised in his household. Also, they mention that Hassan (RA) was poisoned by Mu'awiya (RA), a common Shi'i lie.

Unauthentic “Research”
Certain “facts” are in fact plain conjecture. Other facts which can easily be researched are simply copied and pasted without verification. For example, quotations are simply extracted from the audio, From the Shadows, including the most glaring error claiming that the Freemasons realised their error in France when they lost control of Napoleon. They therefore made certain that when they later inspired the American Revolution that they installed a Freemason, George Washington.

The producers make much of their “research” yet as Americans, they should know a basic fact that the Treaty of Paris terminating the Independence War was signed in 1783, which is 16 years before Napoleon came to power in 1799. Did the Masons then invent a time travel machine to install George Washington back in 1775? Incidentally Washington died in 1799, the year Bonaparte came to power and broke away from Masonic control. How could the French Revolution possibly have been before the American Revolution?

If these widely available facts are mysteries to these great researchers, why should we trust them on their novel, obscure claims?

Brazen distortion of Qurān and Ḥadīth
Our interpretation of Qurān and Ḥadīth is what Allāh and His Rasūl (pbuh) taught us, via the chain of the Ṣaḥābah (R.A), Mufassirūn and Muḥaddithūn. Aḥādīth warning against personal interpretations are well known.


The producers make the following claims:
* Ad-Dajjāl has already emerged.
* The first day represents his rule in England, starting in 900 of the Christian era.
The second day represents his rule in America, starting in 1917.* The English monarchy started in 900.
* The third day represents his rule in Palestine, starting in 2001.

The unbiased will realise:
* England and “between Iraq and Syria” cannot be the same.
* The continuous monarchy of England is dated from the reign of Egbert in 829. Is Arrivals deliberately lying to get their date of 900?
* The question of the Ṣalāh, clearly shows that the Ṣaḥābah (RA) understood the prophecy to mean that a normal 24 hour day will be extended to a year.
* This is in line with the clear, uncomplicated Dīn which Rasūlullāh (pbuh) brought us.
* The esoteric UK-US theory seems more in line with Masonic thinking.

Arrivals is correct that there is infiltration. They are just slyer than many expect.
